Stating the Obvious
Here's an amusing little tidbit from Mediapost this morning about video podcast downloaders:
In other news, research has also determined that people who eat a lot of food are fatter than average.
Video podcast users were 764 percent more likely than the average user to visit StarTrek.com, a CBS Paramount site based on the 40-year-old "Star Trek" TV franchise.Shocking.

6 Moments of Idiocy:
I'm never forwarding you articles again. But then again, I'm not a blogger: http://evidiot.blogspot.com/2006/07/yeah-im-blogger-so-what.html
You forgot to mention the part of the article that says that the number of people who download podcasts now exceeds the number of people who have blogs. Take that, Nick Denton and your "the world does not need more blogs" comment! Everybody, blog away, there must be more blogs!
I know, but what a completely irrelevant statistic. That's like saying that more people walk to work than read the newspaper during their commute. It's a total apples-to-oranges comparison.
Don't forgot the people that walk while reading the paper...how's that for multi-tasking!
no stats on dungeon and dragons, comic book conventions or star wars?
now, that's shocking.
in related news, clerks II is coming out soon. the trailer's been all over the ususal suspect channels.
Chris, when are we starting the "young people who work in advertising," blog ring?
(Apologies, it may be the Thursday night happy hours drinks purchased by my COO talking. But I think my point still stands.)
